The Ultimate Travelling Camp offers a sophisticated canvas-top safari experience in the heart of Bandhavgarh.The camp is situated close to the village of Tala. With just a handful of traditionally designed mud dwellings, this village marks the lowest lying area of the park. There are about 20 families who inhabit the village, which is widely known for its bamboo craftsmanship and weaving.
Tala, Magadhi and Khitauli are the core zones and Dhamokar, Johila and Panpatha are the buffer zones. The Panpatha buffer zone in particular, is perfect for bicycling with one of our expert naturalists. It’s a beautiful tract of wilderness, full of flora and fauna. Enjoy a thrilling game drive into the jungle, nature walks with our naturalists in the buffer zones, spectacular birding trails, and learn all about some of India’s key wildlife conservation initiatives like Project Tiger. Ardent wildlife enthusiasts can opt to go on a night safari game drive in Panpatha, or if you want to soak up the natural beauty of the environs we suggest a special dinner in a machaan, a traditional jungle lookout, with views of the tree canopy and the forest floor.

Overnight : At The UnTamed Bandhavgarh, Bandhavgarh
Set off on an early morning game drive into Bandhavgarh National Park, accompanied by an expert naturalist. Keep your camera and binoculars ready as you set off on the trail of the tiger. Early mornings are one of the best times for tiger sightings, as the felines are often spotted heading home after a night out on the hunt. You will observe several species of animals and birds. Bandhavgarh is full of deer, Sambhar, peacocks, monkeys, wild boar and several other animals.
Return to the camp for a sumptuous breakfast, after which you can freshen up and relax after your morning adventure. Enjoy a delectable lunch at the camp, after which you can either opt to enjoy your evening at leisure, or you can choose to go cycle down some of the surrounding jungle pathways in the Panpatha buffer zone.
Optional: This evening, enjoy a sundowner around the campfire with your fellow guests as you swap stories of the day’s sightings.
Tuck into a tastydinner, and the rest of the evening is at your leisure.
