With the Zabarwan Hills in the background and Dal Lake around the corner, the Royal Springs Golf Course is easily one of the most stunning and breathtaking golf courses you would play in India. The course is spread over 300 acres of rolling hills, native deciduous forest, lakes, wilderness with the occasional marsh.
Don’t be surprised if you spot the rare Hangul lurking in the thickets. The course was built out of a forest and has huge changes in undulations and scenery making it a pleasure to play on. The Royal Spring Golf course (RSGC) is located close to the Mughal Garden, Chashma Shahi, at the foothills of Zabarvan hills and overlooks the tranquil Dal Lake. Expect your ball to travel atleast 10% further on this course. The biggest challenge is handling the rough on this course & reading the lines & slopes on the greens. A tip we picked up – if you are putting in the direction of the hills – it is often a uphill putt even if it looks downhill! That could save you a few 4 putts.
