The Kalhaar Blues and Greens Golf course is India’s first Nicklaus Design Championship course and also has the distinction of being India’s longest golf course on the plains as it stretches to a massive 7425 yards from the Black Tees. The course has an inland links style feel to it with severe contouring, plenty of water in play, massive bunkering in all shapes and sizes, greens that are slick and sometimes severe with the curves and slopes. It’s a course which will get you the first time, will enthrall you when you play the second time and then get you addicted as you slowly see the subtleties that have gone into designing each hole. The project is built over almost 500 acres & has 801 villas.
The golf course is a championship 18 hole, 7425 yard, Par 72 layout designed by Nicklaus Design. It is incidentally the toughest course in the country with a course & slope rating of 76.8 & 142. That means a scratch golfer from the back tees will play 4.8 over the course (76.8-72).
