Itinerary

Day 1Arrival NewDelhi

Arrive at New Delhi’s ‘IGI International Airport’ at 1100 hours. Meet with our company representative, warm welcome with fresh flower garlands & then transfer to hotel.

In the afternoon, start the Delhi tour by visiting memorial of Mahatma Gandhi ‘Raj Ghat’ & then visit Jama Masjid (one of India’s biggest mosque). A rickshaw-ride through the narrowest lanes of Chandni Chowk (Old Delhi) will entice you, surprise you & might intimidate you, but for sure, these chaotic streets will give you an experience of a lifetime.

Cruise on your rickshaw through many small lanes, such as silver market, book market, wedding market etc. Your rickshaw will come at a halt in ‘Khari Baoli’ – spice market, and then have a walk around in the area. Return to your vehicle by rickshaw-ride & then drive past the majestic Red Fort- where Indian PM unfurls the flag every 15th August (Independence Day) & addresses the nation.

Return to hotel at the end of the tour, Enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 2 New Delhi

Post Breakfast. Proceed for Delhi’s tour.

Visit Qutub Minar; The Qutab Minar, soaring Afghan-style victory tower and minaret, erected by sultan Qutb-ud-din in 1193 to proclaim his supremacy over the vanquished Hindu rulers of Qila Rai Pithora. Also visit a Kashmiri Co-operative, enjoy a Kashmiri Tea ‘Kahwa’ here when you witness the artisians presenting their local arts & products

Next visit to a Sikh Temple ‘Bangla Sahib’ & then drive past major govt. buildings such as Presidents Palace, Parliament House, India Gate circle.

Later proceed to visit Humayun’s Tomb, Humayun’s tomb is sublimely well proportioned, seeming to float above its symmetrical gardens. It’s thought to have inspired the Taj Mahal, which it predates by 60 years. Lotus Temple for a short exterior photography stop;

Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3Delhi – Ranthambore

Post breakfast and checkout, drive to Ranthambore (400kms,8-9hours).

Upon arrival, accommodate at the pre booked hotel. Overnight.

Day 4Ranthambore – Bundi

Early morning, proceed for the Jungle safari at Ranthambore National Park with naturalists in open jeep.

Considered as one of the biggest national parks in northern India in 1980, will offer you to witness, close with many wildlife’s like peacocks, bears, gazelles, sloths, wild boars and no doubt Bengal tigers. See the beautiful vivid variety of birds and animal flocking/relaxing in their region.

Return to hotel for the breakfast. Later checkout from the hotel drive to Bundi (150kms/3hours).

Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 5Bundi – Chittorgarh

Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing which includes Taragarh fort, the most impressive of the city’s structures. Followed by visit of Bundi palace, and Chaurasi kambhon ki Chatri also visit Stepwells, There are over 50 stepwells in Bundi. Due to shortage of time we will explore important one only. The Rani Ji Ki Baori is a noted one.

Later drive to Chittorgarh (150kms/3 hours).

Upon arrival, check-in at hotel

Chittorgarh – popular for Chittorgarh Fort. The fort covers an enormous area of 700 acres and denotes courage, pride and romance among Rajasthani people.

Day 6Chittorgarh – Udaipur

Post breakfast, explore the Chittorgarh Fort- visit Padmini Palace, Vijay Stambh, and Rana Kumbha’s palace which signifies sacrifice and valor of the heroic Rajaputans. Some other attractions inside the fort such as the Kirti Stambh and Kalika Mata Temple.

Later drive to Udaipur (110Kms/2hrs). As you reach Udaipur, check-in at your pre booked hotel. The day is to be spent resting and relaxing at your hotel room.

Day 7Udaipur

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Udaipur city.

Visit City Palace: The spectacular City Palace was built in 1725 by Maharana Udai Singh & overlooks Lake Pichola. Crystal Gallery- houses rare crystal that Maharana Sajjan Singh ordered from F&C Osler & Co in England in 1877. Royal Vintage Car Collection-the maharanas’ car collection makes a fascinating diversion, for what it tells about their elite lifestyle and for the vintage vehicles themselves.

Sahelion Ki Bari Garden: – A major garden in the northern part of the city, built for a group of 48 young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. Also visit Bagore Ki Haveli located in Udaipur on the waterfront of the popular Lake Pichola of Udaipur. This Haveli was constructed in 18th century by the prime Minister of Mewar (Amar Chand Badwa).

Later take a Sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola & later take a stroll through the local shops.

Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 8Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh

Post breakfast, checkout from hotel and drive to Kumbhalgarh (90kms/2hours.

On arrival, check in to hotel.

Later proceed to visit Kumbhalgarh fort includes visit of Halla Pol, Hanuman Pol, Bhairon Pol, Nimboo Pol, Paghra Pol, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Vedi Temple, Ganesh Temple, Parsvanath Temple, Bawan Devri Temple, Mamadeo Temple, Kumbha Palace, Birth Place of Maharana Pratap, Badal Mahal. Overnight in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 9Kumbhalgarh – Jodhpur

Post breakfast, checkout from hotel and drive to Jodhpur (180kms/3-4hours)

On arrival check in at hotel

Post some rest proceed to visit Clock tower & city market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

Post breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Jaisalmer (280Kms/5hrs)-Founded by Maharana Jaisal Singh, a Rajput Singh in 1156 AD, the city derives its name from the ruler itself.

Upon arrival at Jaisalmer, accommodate at the pre booked hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11Jaisalmer – Dunes

Post breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. The city is quite famous for the Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quila. The town bustles with various shops, hotels and ancient havelis and is considered as the only living fort in India. Inside this fort, visit the Raj Mahal (royal palace), the Laxminath Temple and several Jain temples. The palace museum has a huge collection of the items belonging to the royal era.

Other attractions that you will visit include Patwon-ki-Haveli, Gadsisar Lake (built in the 14th century by Maharawal Gadsi for the conservation of rain water) and Sam Sand Dunes.

Later drive the next destination Dunes(40Kms/1hr). Once you reach, you will be comfortably transferred to the Camp where you can complete the check-in formalities.

After straightening your back, you will be taken to the magnificent Sand Dunes in the evening. Sam Sand Dunes is a perfect place to witness matchless sunset views. Experience Jeep ride to the Sunset Point.

Return to camp. Lively folk dances and musical performances will leave a long lasting impression on you.

Enjoy an overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 12Dunes – Bikaner

Post breakfast checkout from the Camp and proceed to Bikaner (330Kms/5hrs).

Upon arrival accommodate at the pre booked hotel. Overnight.

Day 13Bikaner – Jaipur

Post breakfast, visit Junagarh Fort which consists of courtyards, kiosks and balconies. Next, visit the camel breeding farm, a unique farm in Asia and Karni Mata Temple also known as Rat Temple.

Later drive to Jaipur (330kms/5-6hours)

Upon arrival in Jaipur, accommodate at the pre booked hotel. Overnight.

Day 14Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of Jaipur

We start with Amber Fort. Elephant ride uphill & Jeep ride downhill at the fort. Nostalgic Amber Fort, near Jaipur in Rajasthan, is one of the most well-known and most-visited forts in India. During downhill, visit a very heritage structure – Panna-Meena ka kund, which is a square-shaped stepwell, with adjoining stairs on all four sides and a room on the northern wall.

We will make our way back to the city, en-route we will stop at Jal Mahal, Possibly the most serene sight amidst the chaos of Jaipur is the beautiful Jal Mahal Jaipur, the Water Palace. Short stops at the Jewel & Carpet Workshops in Jaipur are must to witness how the local artisans create marvels from raw materials.

Later in the second half of the day, visit Jantar Mantar, a large grassy enclosure containing eighteen huge stone astronomical measuring devices constructed between 1728 and 1734. City Palace, originally built by Jai Singh in the 1720s and having lost none of its original pomp and splendour. Before you start exploring the local markets, stop for photography at the one world’s most famous façade Hawa Mahal.

Post your exploration in the local market. Return to hotel & overnight.

Day 15Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

Post breakfast, checkout and drive towards Fatehpur Sikri (210kms,4 hours), best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. And said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture. Highly popular amongst them is Buland Darwaza, which is titled as the largest gateway in the world.

Continue moving towards Agra (20kms,30minutes). On arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 16Agra – Delhi

Early morning wake-up and sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. (Timings would vary as per season). Sunrise is by far the best time to visit the Taj Mahal. Not just because the early morning light turns the dome of the temple a soft, golden colour, but because this is the time when there are the least amount of tourists. Described by Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore as “a teardrop on the face of eternity”, the Taj Mahal is undoubtedly the zenith of Mughal architecture.

Return to hotel, daily routine & breakfast. Later checkout and proceed to visit Agra Fort; Agra has one of the finest Mughal forts in India. Visit a Marble Workshop; local artisans showcase their skill of Marble Inlay work in these workshops. The artisans in Agra are believed to be the descendants of the artists who were actual workers of Taj Mahal.

Post sightseeing drive towards Delhi (200Kms/4hrs).

Upon arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17Delhi Departure

This day brings the end of wonderful tour, post breakfast proceeds to airport for the flight to onwards destination.
