The forests of the Indian subcontinent are home to a teeming diversity of plant and animal life. Being one with nature is never too formidable here. A robust list of jungles that allow tiger, rhino and elephant sightings makes India one of the most loved wildlife destinations in the world. From the one horned rhino sighting in Kaziranga to Ranthambore and Panna’s lure of seeing the tiger, the National Parks and Sanctuaries of India offer ample opportunities.

To get mesmerized by the Avian life of Indian birding hot spots, you can head in the direction of Bharatpur in Rajasthan, Pulicat Lake in South East India, Namdapha in the North East region and many more. Being one of the 12 most bio-diverse regions of the world, a mix of rainforest, tropical and semi deciduous covers makes for a large part of the Indian topography. The wonder of Sundarbans, cold desert national parks and the arresting beauty of the less treaded jungles of Chhattisgarh add to the list of soul satiating jungles of the Indian subcontinent.

WIFI
Generally, WiFi is available in most parts of India and at most of the accommodation, we use. It’s usually free in public areas of hotels but some properties will charge for in room use. Please ask your tour leader or the specific hotel reception upon check in. Many restaurants and cafes (especially in tourist areas) offer customers free WiFi. Ask for the password when ordering.
Internet cafes are widespread in India and connections are usually reasonably fast, except in more remote areas.

MOBILE
You can purchase a SIM at the airport (or at kiosks everywhere) for use while traveling in India. Airtel or Vodaphone are a good bet. SIMs are relatively cheap. You will need to usually provide 2 passport-sized photos and a copy of your passport will be made.

MAIL
Posting airmail letters to anywhere overseas costs ₹25/15. International airmail postcards cost around ₹12. For postcards, stick the stamps on before writing, as the post office can give you as many as four stamps per card. The post office is always a fun adventure in India!

In India, the markets, shops, showrooms, hotels, restaurants all accept only INR. There are booths available at the airport for exchanging currency. Also, our tour director can help you exchange money while you are on the tour by taking you to an authorized FOREX exchange service.

If you are in a shopping mall, or a modern grocery store, in hotels & most restaurants you can pay by International Credit/Debit cards but your cards will be charged in local currency (INR).

Extra Adult in a room?

In India, hotels do not have triple rooms, in case you select 03 adults in 01 room, there will be an extra mattress places in the same (double) room.

Very few hotels provide a cot (folding bed), mostly they are providing extra mattress for the third adult. So we highly suggest to take 01 DBL & 01 Sgl room

A child is considered only when the person is less than 12 years of age during the tour.
If you select a child on the booking form. The child would share the bed with adults in the room. In case you decide to have extra mattress for the child, please select theit as an adult.
