Day 1: Europe / Delhi
Day 2: Delhi / Nainital -
Arrive Delhi, meet-assist and transfer to
Nainital (322km, 7hrs drive). En-route have
breakfast and on arrival transfer to hotel.
Lunch and rest of the day free.
Day
3 : Warm up cycling trip in valley
to Naini Lake and Bhim Tal. ( 7km up hill
and 7km down hill) ( 8 Miles .)
Day 4 : Nainital/Kausani (108km /
65 Miles downhill), leave on bikes
from Nainital to Kausani. Kausani is situated
at an altitude of 1890mts. Lunch en-route
and overnight in tents and campfire.
Day 5: Kausani/Ranikhet (80km / 48
Miles downhill) Leave on bikes from
Kausani to Ranikhet. Ranikhet is situated
at an altitude of 1829mts. Lunch en-route.
Ranikhet offers a panoramic views of the western
Himalayas and with some ancient temples. On
arrival transfer to camps, in evening campfire.
Day
6 : Ranikhet/Tota Aam (60-70km ( 42 Miles.
downhill) Leave on bikes to Tota
Aam through the jungle road. There is good
possibility of coming across some wildlife
in this area. Lunch en-route, on arrival transfer
to camps and in evening campfire.
Day 7 : Tota Aam / Marchula (85-90km
(55 miles, downhill) Leave on bikes
to Marchula which lies in the outer boundary
of Corbett national park by the side of the
River Ram Ganga. Overnight in hotels or in
camps.
Day 8 : Marchula/Sita Bani Forest/Garjia
(85km / 52 Miles, downhill). Leave
on bikes to Garjia en-route visit Sita Bani
forest. The trail goes through forest and
one can come across some wild life. This is
an excellent area for bird watching. Arrive
and overnight in camps, in evening campfire.
Day 9 : Garjia/Delhi (275km, 6hrs
drive) Leave by bus to Delhi, arrive,
transfer to hotel and rest of the day free.
Day
10: Delhi/Agra - Leave by surface
to Agra and on arrival transfer to hotel.
PM: City tour of Agra including Taj Mahal.
(Taj Mahal is closed on Monday) Taj Mahal:
It has been described as the most extravagant
monument ever built for love, the emperor
was heart broken when his wife Mumtaz died.
It is completely built out of white marble.
Agra Fort: The construction of the fort was
commenced during the reign of Emperor Akbar
and the additions were made till the time
of his grandson Shah Jahan. During the time
of Akbar it was primarily a military fort
but later the focus shifted and it partially
became a palace.
Day 11 : Drive to Delhi.
Relax and lLater departure transfer to international
airport for flight back to Europe in the early
morning of Day 12 .
