Day 1 : From Your Home – New
Delhi : Arrive Delhi, our company
executive will meet/assist and transfer you
to the hotel for overnight stay (Air ticket
from your home country to India will be arranged
by you).
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing :
After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Old
and New Delhi. Old Delhi including
Red Fort : The red stone walls of the fort
extend from 2 kms and vary in height from
18m on the riverside to 33m on the city side.
The hall of public audiences, the hall of
private audiences, the royal baths and Moti
Masjid built by Aurangzeb for himself are
important part of the immense fort. Jama Masjid
: It is the largest mosque in India and the
final architectural extravagance of Shanjahan.
Raj Gath : The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi
where he was cremated after his assassination.
New Delhi including Laxmi Narayan
Temple : Garishly colored modern
temple is erected by the industrialist Birla.
India Gate : The 42 m high stone “Arch
of Triumph”, erected in the memory of
Indian soldiers who died in the First World
War. Humayun’s Tomb : Built by wife
of Humayun, the second Mughal king. It is
an early example of Mughal architecture. Qutab
Minar : The building complex dates back to
the onset of Muslim rule in India and are
fine examples of Afghan architecture. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi – Jaipur :
After breakfast leave by Luxury Bus for Jaipur.
On the way visit Amber Fort Palace and Enjoy
Elephant ride (upto the hills). Raja Man Singh
the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army
constructed the fortress palace in the end
of 16th century. The fort is superb example
of Rajput architecture, stunning situated
on a hilltop, overlooking a lake.
Continue drive towards Jaipur. On arrival
Check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 : Jaipur : After breakfast
sightseeing of Jaipur - the origins of the
beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back
to the eighteenth century, during the reign
of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne
in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit
of Rajputana. In-spite of growing into a bustling
metropolis, it still retains it's character
and history - Beautiful fusion of the yesteryears
and modernity. Popularly known as the Pink
City because of the extensive use of the locally
abundant pink plastered stone, painted so
in honor of the visit of the royal consort
of Queen Victoria. Jaipur thrills the soul
with its massive forts, magnificent palaces,
exquisite temples and lush gardens. Main tourist
attractions of Jaipur are City Palace with
its fine collection of textiles, costumes
and armoury and the Palace of the Winds. Maharaja
Jai Singh was a great astronomer of his time.
He built here extraordinary (and very accurate)
stargazing Observatory here named as “Jantar
Mantar”.
PM : Leave by bus for Agra and on the way
visit Fatehpur Sikri - The
deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar
built that as his capital and palace in the
late 16th century is an exhilarating experience.
It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins"
are in pristine condition ... it's not hard
to imagine what the court life must have been
like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit
the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in
the world.
Continue journey towards Agra. On arrival
transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Agra : Early morning
at sunrise visit Taj Mahal
- one of the Seven Wonders of the World was
built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed
in 1651AD. This Symbol of Love was built in
the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Breakfast at the hotel. Start city tour of
Agra including Red Fort - Built by the famed
Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort
is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced
within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque,
which is a major tourist attraction. Also
visit the world famous handicraft and Marble
factories. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Agra – Jhansi –
Orcha – Khajuraho : After breakfast
transfer to the railway station for Express
Train to Jhansi dep. 0810 hrs. Arrive Jhansi
at 1050 hrs and transfer by Bus for Khajuraho.
On the way visit Orcha : Once the capital
of Bundelas, Orchha is a village, set amongst
a complex of well preserved palaces and temples.
Though Orcha was founded in 1531, it's golden
age was during the first half of 17th century.
When Jahangir visiting the city in 1606, a
special palace, the Jehangir Mahal was built
for him. Visit the Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal
& Ram Raja temple which also dates back
to the 17th century.
Continue drive towards Khajuraho and on arrival
check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 : Khajuraho : After
breakfast start sightseeing of Khajuraho.
Khajuraho - Built and by the warrior Chandela
dynasty that rose to power in Central India
between 10th & 11th centuries, the 25
odd surving temples display different facets
of life, including the sensual. These erotic
carvings on some panels have given rise to
much speculation since Khajuraho’s re-discovery
by a British officer in 1838. To preserve
it for posterity, Khajuraho has been declared
a World Heritage Site.
Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples
built by the Chandela Kings between 950 AD
& 1050 AD. The most important are the
Chaunset Yogini temple dedicated to Goddess
Kali, the Mahadev temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji
temple with lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu,
Vishwanath & Nandi temples, Lakshmana
temple, Visha temple dedicated to Shiva, which
is the largest & most typical of temples.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 : Khajuraho – Varanasi
: After breakfast leave by bus to
Varanasi. On arrival check in to the hotel.
Day 9 : Varanasi – Sarnath
– Varanasi : Early morning
take a boat ride along the Ganges and catch
the scene of devotees bathing and praying
in the sacred water. Start sightseeing of
Varanasi – the city of temples and ghats
popularly known as “Banaras”.
Famous worldwide from ancient times for art,
culture and educational institutions here.
Every year millions of pilgrim come Varanasi
to take bath in holy Ganges and to pursue
various rituals.
Breakfast at the hotel. Later excursion to
Sarnath – famous because of Lord Buddha
who came here and preach his sermon first
after gaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya.
Evening back to hotel in Varanasi for overnight
stay.
Day 10 : Varanasi – Delhi :
Breakfast at the hotel. Start sightseeing
of Varanasi including various temples, cremation
grounds, Bazaars, Streets and river banks
etc.
Evening transfer to Railway station for overnight
train to Delhi (travel in AC Sleeper Class
Train with pillow, bed sheets and blanket).
Departure at 2225 hrs.
Day 11 : Delhi : Morning
at 1115 hrs arrive in Delhi railway station
and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at the
hotel and later shopping etc. Farewell Dinner.
Final departure transfer to the international
airport flight to your home.
