Day 01 : Arrive Trivandrum
Arrival at Trivandrum airport
Our company representative will meet and assist
you at the airport
Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : In Trivandrum
Morning after breakfast excursion
to Cape Comorine or Kanyakumari and The lands
end of India. On the way back visit Admanabhapuram
Palace and back to Resort for overnight.
Day 03 : Trivandrum - Alleppey
Morning after breakfast drive by
to Alleppey (Venice of the East) . A rustic
backwater town of Kerala to board your Houseboat.
Once rice carrier turned to be a house to
see the rural and natural village life of
Kerala. Take the journey through the narrow
canals to get a beautiful landscape sightseeing
and browse the rural life, Snake boats, local
fishing, Chinese Fishing, Kuttanad (Paddy
fields- The rice bowl of Kerala), Churches,
Temples etc... Your boat will anchor near
the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary for the overnight
sleep on board.
Day 04 : Alleppey - Munnar
Morning breakfast on board
Enjoy sun-rise and birdwatch till
1000 hrs
1030 hrs : Check out backwater cruise and
drive to Munnar Hill Station; literally meaning
three rivers, is situated on the confluence
of three rivers. The average altitude is over
4000 feet above sea level. This quiet little
tea town boasts of many colonial bungalows,
tea factories, wild life sanctuaries and many
lakes. Among the exotic floral found in the
forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji.
This flower, which bathes the hills in blue,
once in every twelve years (The next bloom
is expected in 2006 A.D only). The interesting
places are Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam,
Anamudi etc.
Day 05 : Munnar
Morning after breakfast start sightseeing
in and around Munnar. Over night at hotel.
Day 06 : Munnar - Cochin
Morning after breakfast drive to
Cochin
On arrival check in to hotel
PM : Ciry tour. Overnight at hotel
Day 07 : Cochin Departure
Morning after breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing
including the Jewish Synagogue, built over
400 years ago, containing beautiful Belgiang
paved with hand-painted tiles from China;
the Dutch Palace with its wonderful murals
depicting the entire story of the Ramayanas;
St. Fr. First European church built in India
(16th Century) and the original burial site
of Vasco Da Gama; the Chinese fishing nets
a bordering the Cochin.
Evening at the time of international flight
