Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Our company representative will meet / assist
you and transfer to hotel for overnight stay
Day 2: Delhi : After breakfast,
leave for a day's sightseeing tour of Delhi.
In historic Old Delhi you will see the Jama
Masjid, one of the largest mosques of India;
the Red Fort, an impressive sandstone monument
built by the Mughals, and you can explore
the busy market of Chandi Chowk. You can also
visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
In New Delhi you can see India Gate, Parliament
House and the President's mansion. Humayun's
Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Bahai Temple and
shopping in crafts emporia in Delhi complete
your Delhi tour. Return to your hotel to stay
overnight.
Day 3 : Delhi - Leh : Transfer
to the airport to board the flight to Leh.
You will be received on arrival and transferred
to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize yourself
to the altitude and rarified air of Ladakh.
Day 4: Dahanu Valley : Drive
to Dahanu Valley, where the Drokpa live. They
are Buddhist in name, but are culturally and
racially different from the rest of the inhabitants
of Ladakh. We will visit Dah and Beema, two
of the five villages inhabited by the Drokpa
people. We will drive down the Indus, between
Khaltse and the Shyok - Indus confluence seeing
panoramic views on the way to our camp at
Beema.
Day 5: Beema and Dah : After
breakfast we visit the villages of Beema and
Dah and meet the Drokpa tribe. They are a
small community of about 2000 people whose
features are pure Indo-Aryan, and they have
preserved their racial purity down the centuries.
Stay overnight at the camp at Beema.
Day 6: Leh : After breakfast
we drive back to Leh via and see the picturesque
villages of Achinathang and Skurbachan on
the way. We also stop to see the impressive
Basgo Fort. Stay overnight at the hotel in
Leh.
Day 7: Pangong Lake : After
an early breakfast we drive for around 7 Hrs
to Pangong Lake. Located at an altitude of
14,000 ft, Pangong Lake is approached by a
road that crosses the Chang La Pass (18,000
ft.) and scenic villages. Stay overnight at
a camp on the edge of Pangong Lake.
Day 8: Pangong Lake : After
breakfast we explore the 130km long lake,
which is divided by the Indo-Chinese border.
We also see the settlements of the Chang Pa
tribe, who are nomadic herdsmen who migrate
from Ladakh to Tibet and back, as the seasons
change through the year. Stay overnight at
the tented camp on Pangong Lake.
Day 8: Leh : After breakfast
we drive back to Leh (7 hrs.) Check into your
hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Leh : Spend a relaxed
day in Leh and explore Leh bazaar. You can
shop for Ladakhi curios, masks, prayer wheels,
clothing, Buddhist artifacts and other souvenirs.
Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 10: Alchi : After breakfast
we leave for a day's sightseeing of the Alchi
monastery and Likir Gompa. The Buddhist heritage
of Ladakh can be seen at these religious sites.
Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 11: Leh - Delhi : After
breakfast you will transferred to the airport
to board the flight to Delhi. Leave for Delhi
with unforgettable memories of your
Day 12 : Delhi Departure
Breakfast at hotel
Full day sightseeing of Delhi including India
Gate, Kingsway, Laxmi Narayan temple, Qutab
Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Jama Masjid
(Friday Mosque) and Raj Ghat.
Evening after dinner ransfer to the international
airport for your flight to your onward destination.
