Day 1 : Arrive New Delhi : Arrive
Delhi, our company executive will meet/assist
and transfer you to the hotel (Air ticket
from your home country to India will be arranged
by you).
Day 2 : Delhi : Breakfast
at the hotel.
Sightseeing of Old Delhi
including Red Fort: The red
stone walls of the fort extend from 2kms and
vary in height from 18m on the riverside to
33m on the city side. The hall of public audiences,
the hall of private audiences, the royal baths
and Moti Masjid built by Aurangzeb for himself
are important part of the immense fort. Jama
Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India
and the final architectural extravagance of
Shanjahan. Raj Gath: The memorial of Mahatma
Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination.
Sightseeing of New Delhi including Laxmi
Narayan Temple: Garishly colored modern temple
is erected by the industrialist Birla. India
Gate: The 42m high stone “Arch of Triumph”,
erected in the memory of Indian soldiers who
died in the First World War. Humayun’s
Tomb: Built by wife of Humayun, the second
Mughal king. It is an early example of Mughal
architecture. Qutab Minar: The building complex
dates back to the onset of Muslim rule in
India and are fine examples of Afghan architecture.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi - Lucknow - Sravasti : Morning
transfer to railway station to board train
Shatabdi Express for Lucknow. Arrive Lucknow
and have lunch at the local restaurant and
after lunch leave by road for Sravasti. Arrive
Sravasti and transfer to hotel. Overnight
at the hotel in Saravasti.
Day 4 : Sravasti - Lumbini : Breakfast at
the hotel. Start sightseeing of Saravasti
and visit Sahet Mahet. Later leave for Lumbini
- the birthplace of the Buddha. On your way
to Lumbini visit Kapilavastu - the place where
Prince Siddharth (Gautam Buddha) spent his
childhood and saw the worldly sorrow and pain,
disease and death. Then, finally when he saw
a radiant happy Sadhu who had conquered all
these, he decided to renounce all worldly
riches and pleasures to seek truth and embark
on the path of salvation.
Arrive Lumbini and check in to the hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Lumbini - Kushinagar : Breakfast
at the hotel. Start sightseeing of Lumbini
- the Birth place of Lord Buddha. Afternoon
leave by road for Kushinagar - where the Buddha
finally attained nirvana. Arrive and transfer
to the hotel. Afternoon visit Nirvana Temple,
Ramabhar Stupa and Cremation site of Lord
Buddha. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Kushinagar - Patna : After breakfast
leave by road for Patna. Enroute sightseeing
of Vaishali - the place of Mahavira one of
the Jain Tirthankars and also the place is
of Buddha where attain of Mahanirvana was
declared. Continue drive towards Patna. Arrive
Patna and check in to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 7 : Patna – Rajgir - Bodhgaya :
Morning after breakfast leave for Bodhgaya
- the place where Buddha got Enlightenment.
Enroute visit Nalanda and Rajgir - Like many
others in search of truth, Prince Siddhartha,
after he renounced his royal heritage came
to this city to seek the path of vation.
Continue drive towards Bodhgaya. Arrive and
check in to the hotel in Bodhgaya for overnight
stay.
Day 8 : Bodhgaya : After breakfast start
sightseeing of Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya is the spiritual
home of Buhddhists and attracts a number of
believers from all over the world. Bodhgaya
situated near the river Niranjana, is one
of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centres
since it was here that Buddha attained enlightenment
under the Bodhi tree. Visit various temple
and Niranjana River. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi : Breakfast at
the hotel. Morning drive for Varanasi –
the city of temples and ghats popularly known
as “Banaras”. Famous worldwide
from ancient times for art, culture and educational
institutions here. Every year millions of
pilgrim come Varanasi to take bath in holy
Ganges and to pursue various rituals.
Arrive Varanasi and check in to the hotel.
Late afternoon visit Sarnath - where the Buddha
preached his first sermon in the Deer Park,
contains the most impressive remains, as well
as a modern temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Varanasi - Kathmandu : Early morning
take a boat ride along the Ganges and catch
the scene of devotees bathing and praying
in the sacred water.
Later transfer to the airport for flight
to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer
to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11 : Kathmandu : Breakfast at the hotel.
Start walking tour of Kathmandu city. Visit
Durbar Square at the heart of the city. Evening
enjoy local bazaar and some shopping. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 12 : Kathmandu : Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit famous Pashupatinath Temple on the banks
of the Bagmati River, the Bodnath - the largest
Boddha Stupa in the Nepal. Free in the afternoon.
Overnight in the hotel.
Day 13 : Kathmandu – Your Home : Breakfast
at the hotel. Day free at leisure. Evening
transfer to the international airport for
flight back to your home.
