Benapole-Khulna-Bagerhat
DAY 01 : Arrive Benapole
Border. Received by our representative and
transfer to Khulna. On way visit the father-in-law’s
house of Tagore. Transfer to Hotel. After
lunch excursion to Bagerhat(1 hr), visit 60
domed mosque built by Khan Jahan Ali. The
area has many remains of the time, mosque,
tomb, dighi(water body), road of 14 century.
Overnight at Khulna.
Khulna-Kushtia-Rajshahi
DAY 02 : Drive to Kushtia ( 3hrs),
on way visit the mosque at Bara Bazar. Visit
to Lalon Shah’s Akhra(area), the famous
saint singer, who influnced Tagore in his
mystic poems. Visit Tagore’s temporary
residence. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive
to Rajshahi(4 hrs). Transfer to Hotel. View
sunset on the bank of river Padma(Ganges)
Rajshahi-Chapai Nawabganj-Rajshahi
DAY 03 : Drive to Chapai Nawabganj(3hrs),
visit Chotto Sona Mosque, Taha Khana(summer
palace), Mango garden(famous for mangoes),
Varandra museum(famous for Black stone statue
collection), visit Puthia temples and palace.
Late afternoon return to Rajshahi
Rajshahi-Bogra-Rangpur
DAY 04 : Drive to Bogra, via Puthia
temples and palace. Visit Mahasthangarh, ruins
of a metropolis of 4 BC it’s under excavation.
Drive to Paharpur, the largest Bihara on south
of Himalaya. Built in 7 century. Drive to
Rangpur for overnight. If time permits visit
Tajhat Palace
Rangpur-Dinajpur-Dhaka
DAY 05 : Drive to Dinajpur(1.5 hrs)
and visit the Kantajee’s temple, famous
for it terra cotta plaques, depicting the
myth and history of the past times. Return
to Dhaka(8 hrs), cross Jamuna bridge, the
longest in Bangladesh. Lunch at local restaurant.
Arrive Dhaka and transfer to Hotel
Dhaka-Mainamati-Dhaka
DAY 06 : Visit to Sonargaon, the
old capital,(1 hour) ruins of Painam village,
Goaldi Mosque and Folk art museum. Drive to
Mainamati(2.5 hr), a Buddhist site scattered
with ruins and you can visit a few of them
and the site museum. Return to Dhaka
Departure for back home
Day 07 : Transfer to Airport..
